I was invited to visit Alive museum last year as blogged in this post, and recently, Alive museum has came up with an additional of 2 more brand new zones which is Live.Laugh.Love and Young@Heart.
It was to my delight that Alive Museum extended their invitation to my fiance and I, and of course, we agreed to go as illustionary art has always been one of our favorites. Being an artist myself, I am always rearing myself to go for such events to gain inspirations while taking the time to enjoy myself.
A short background of Alive Museum:
Alive museum is supported by an R&D in Korea where it showcases 3 types of art: Trick art, Digital art and Object art. Each artwork is carefully painted and designed by the artists, using special paint to preserve the quality of artworks.
As taken from the Alive Museum website:
Trick art was very popular during the Baroque era in the 16th century. Using 3D painting techniques like using curve and reflection of light, perspective and shadows, these can makes flat classic painting into 3D artworks.
Digital art allows you to experience virtual reality created using state-of-art technologies and art elements.
Object art is done by using perspective, special properties of glass and mirror effects, allowing you to experience magical ideas in reality. Is seeing believing? Touch and be part of the art pieces for an immersive experience that you will talk about for a long time to come!
Word of advice: Do come in groups of threes or more! It was really tough for both of us to take picture together as there is no staff walking around to help us take. So most of the exhibits, we could only do solo shots. Thanks to many kind souls to offer to help us take a couple shot!
So let the photos do the talking!
(Do refer to my previous post for old exhibits photos as we mainly took at the new artworks this time round!)
