Calligraphy Painting: Using white ink on black paper

Working on black paper can be difficult yet giving beautiful results at the same time. Been working on black paper for past weeks and I just love it!

If you have been following my instagram which I update regularly compared to here, I have decided to try using gesso and white acrylic paint only and came up with these artworks:

I am quite in love with feathers themed fashions nowadays, which explain the feathered skirt and feathered shawl 😉
