It’s Friday today, and it’s public holiday…which means no work day! 🙂
I decided to put my laziness aside to make a card using Silhouette Cameo. The reason why I said laziness is because the machine is kept in a box and up above my cupboard. And you know how lazy people are, you cannot reach it, just forget it. 😉
But I decided to use it today because I haven’t use it before! And jolly! I love the machine, it works like my previous Silhouette SD, just that it allowed bigger surface area for cutting. Enough said, I attempted to make one box card using it and I just love the results!
The template was from LoriWhitlock, where she has many excellent and beautiful templates, and this lovely princess castle box card is one of them! <3
Princess Castle Box Card
Description of the card: The castle and box were cut using CAMEO, and the patterned papers from Cardmaking and Papercrafts. Distress ink was used for the castle to create a two shaded look. Glitter glue added to the heart window and the front window. I used acrylic paper for the castle backing because it gives a nice texture as its shadow, which can really make a difference compared to choosing a plain no-textured paper. Just my opinion 🙂
I like how this look because it can be foldable which is really easy to keep or mail it to someone in flat envelope.
One of my favorite cards so far! <3
