Aren’t the colors are pretty? The background was actually “blotched” using three different colors of distress inks and a tiny wee bit of water spray. I just like how the colors turns out! After which, I stamped my friend’s name using Hampton Art alphabet stamps.
After which, I layered the paper with patterned paper(My Mind’s Eye Be Happy Paper) which was cornered and bordered punch using Martha Stewart lace punch. Paper string and mulberry flowers with rhinestones were layered over before giving a spray of Heidi Swapp (Coral) to give a shimmery effect which is not obvious in the photo. The “Happy Birthday” was stamped using black chalk ink and acrylic stamp from TPC studio.
Tip: Always keep layering your embellishments to give a 3D dimensional as well as to make it beautiful! It will help to spice up a simple card 🙂
