Wedding decorations are always the most fun part of the whole wedding planning. It can be stressful if one does not know what to do, and it can be expensive if you are not on a budget! After going through my own wedding, I have realised how it is often not easy to diy wedding decorations, and being on budget is the top of my list. But the ultimate results that comes out of it, makes it worthwhile as your guests admired your own diy masterpieces.
Here, I have picked out 10 of my favourite inspirations on how you can diy your own centerpieces without costing a bomb. Hopefully, they will spark some creative juices to help you get started!
1. DIY Ang Pow Box
Ang pow boxes are one of the essential centerpieces as guests throw in their “wishes” or monetary gifts (ang pow) into the boxes for the bride and groom. Here, I actually got IKEA Socker greenhouse box as ang pow box. Tie layers of ribbons around the box, and finished up with brown twine and cotton flowers to give a rustic look. Do up your own signage with the names, and ended off with throwing in scented petals. It will be a refreshing look at the reception table compared to the boring, normal cardboard boxes.

You can put in glasses of flowers (in pictures), or you can overturn the basket to make it as a stylish platform to put photo frames or even photo books on display! After wedding, you can bring it home and use it as your own classy storage box.
