Hello!
A quick post of christmas shaker cards made this week:
It has been a long time since I last did shakers, and I decided to make some shakers after being inspired by Jennifer McGuire‘s shaker cards at KwernerDesign blog 🙂
I prefer my cards to be more embossed and more glitters, so I make the cards in my own style. I embossed the white cardstock with Sizzix embossed plate and Big Shot. The cutout of the reindeer and the tree was done using my silhouette cameo, I absolutely love my machines to bits! I used distressed inks to make the galaxy colors before adding spray mist for a bit of small little white spots. Adding bits of glitters and stars is always my favorite part of cardmaking. I sprayed the background using Heidi Swapp Coral Color Shine for a bit of glimmer effect. After which, I added meaningful word embellishments to the cards.
If you wish to learn how to make it, do hop over to her youtube video tutorial here: Inked Shaker Cards with Jennifer McGuire.
I hope you are inspired to make more christmas cards for your friends and loved ones! <3

I cut out the name and added some shakers (glitters and beads) and seal up using foam tape and cardstock. I have shared a link on my past post on how you can actually make shaker card here: Shaker Card Tutorial. […]
