I went to take a walk and dined at the restaurant by the reservoir in the evening, and the sunset was simply breathtaking that I just had to take a picture. And I never know that orange and blue can make such brilliant color combination! This picture below is taken using my handphone and I used the rich tone (HDR) mode to capture greater intensity and contrast of both color and light…and the picture is amazing!
Color Inspiration:
Gorgeous colors!
And here’s my cards that correspond to the color scheme:
On the closeup of the cards:
Patterned papers are printed using Canon Pixma Printer, and the butterflies are coated with diamond glitter (Sticklers), with their wings folded to create the illusion look of them flying. Fabric flowers and button added as well.
Patterned papers printed using Canon Pixma before cutting the papers into stripes and then joined them together before dry embossing with Sizzix plaid background. Vellum and twine used before stamping the “Hello” using chalk cat eye (Colorbox) and the hello was blinged using Diamond Sticklers.
I love this card to bits! So colorful with a yummy cupcake. Patterned papers were layered and the cupcake is stamped using Jet Black Staz On and colored using Copic markers before cutting it out and pasting using foam tape to create a 3D effect. After which, it was added with a diamond glitter effect using Diamond Sticklers.
And lastly is the box card which can be folded flat if you want to keep it. And I like it so much that I bring it to my office and displayed it on top of my CPU to remind myself to find joy everyday and be happy 🙂
I made this box by cutting out using Silhouette Cameo and the stickers were used to paste the inside of the box card. Those stickers were left over which my mum bought for me and I decided to put them in! And the fact that those stickers were also glittered makes the card looking even more gorgeous! I just love stickers!
It is not obvious in here but I use Heidi Swapp Color Shine spray (Seafoam) on the outer layer of the tag “Find joy everyday” which gives a very nice shimmery effect. Very pretty I must say!
So that’s all folks! Thanks for looking! <3
