As mentioned before in my previous post on Alive Museum, I have always have the fascination for 3D artworks so imagine my delight when Trick Eye Museum SG sent me an invitation to explore their world of 3D artworks! Similar to Alive Museum, they also offer the same concept of using two-dimensional artworks to create three-dimensional artworks via use of optical illusions, allowing us to explore many possibilities of using creative poses to “tell” a story.
In Trick Eye Museum, the artworks are categorized into six interactive zones (taken from Trick Eye Website):
World of Masterpieces
Be part of renowned Western masterpieces from French impressionist Georges Seurat’s “A Sunday afternoon on the Island of La Grande Jatte” to contemporary Scottish artist Jack Vettriano’s “The Singing Butler”. Touch these amazing creations, strike a pose, “interact” with the characters and become the subject of the paintings.Safari Kingdom
Nowhere is safe in this virtual safari! Escape from a monstrous fish and hide from a giant venomous snake. Be as adventurous as you wish and be creative with your poses.Star of Circus
Here’s your chance to be the star at circus! Show off your balancing skills on the trunk of Jumbo the elephant or fly out in a puff of smoke as the human cannonball! You are the shining star at the Star of Circus.Dreams of Fairy Tale
Fairy tales are not only meant for kids. Come and meet familiar characters such as the Three Musketeers and Puss in Boots. Enter the world of fairy tale and unleash the child in you.Love in Winter
Winter is finally here in Singapore! Ride on a witch’s broomstick and travel to winter wonderland. Don’t be afraid to step in to the frozen world as your friend the mammoth is there to help you. This chilly experience will make you forget all about the warmth outside.Adventure Discovery
Now you can experience zero gravity right here on Earth! Take a ride on board the Trickeye spaceship and join the other astronauts. Don’t forget to take plenty of pictures for evidence of your out-of-this-world experiences to show off to your friends and family.

Once we entered the museum, we were greeted with so many beautiful and vibrant artworks! So, I’ll let my pictures do the talking!
(PS: I will only post some photos because it will be better if you go there to have full experience! )
I didn’t know heaven is such a weird place! HAHAH!

It is much recommended to go in group of 3 or 4 so that someone can help you take pictures and trust me, going in a group is definitely much more enjoyable than going solo or group of 2. You get to laugh over funny poses, and shamelessly pose without any awkwardness as the rest also follow suit!
If you ask me to choose between Alive Museum and Trick Eye Museum, personally, I have no particular preferences. Both attractions have their own merits. For me, I feel that Trick Eye is more suitable for couples who are looking for a romantic feel to their photos because the museum has more magical and fairytale theme to it while Alive Museum is more suitable for people who prefer creative and “action” shots which most definitely suitable for groups of friends/family. So it depends what appeal you most! I just love both of the museums’ artworks, so I pretty much enjoy myself! Photographing-wise, I prefer Trick Eye Museum because they have much better lighting which I do not find the need to photoshop much as compared to Alive Museum.
But then again, bad or good lighting… there is always photoshop to the rescue! 😉
One thing to note is that the Trick Eye Museum has more exhibits which required really difficult posing and need a bit of strong muscle core. I was practically exhausted after going through a few zones…I am such an unfit person!
