If you have been following my instagram (@Bellaelysiumcrafts), I actually post a picture of Hero Arts Mini shadow ink which I used for the card below and I love it! I am always very particular about stamp ink pads as most ink pads do not always give very nice and crisp images, and produce those undesirable blobs on the image. So when I saw Hero Arts shadow ink stamps, I thought maybe I should try the mini sizes because the colours are too pretty to resist!
So here’s the card I used with Cornflower shadow ink:
I think the colour is awesome! I stamped using Cornflower Hero Hue ink pad and Hero Arts Cling rubber stamp. There’s isn’t any unwanted blotches which I have tried using other brands (dye ink), the outcome is perfect!
I am also a big fan of embossing powders, especially anything that sparkles. My aunt bought this set for me recently and of course, I love them!
I used the blue sparkle embossing powder for the border of my stamped image to create some sparkles.
I just use my finger to brush away some powder so as to create a “smudge” look instead of straight border. And I add Sparkles Glitte glue (baby blue) to the outer border as well after adding burnt sienna chalk ink around the edge.
And finishing touch by adding red paper strip and handwritten the stitches using Gelly Roll white pen, with the chipboard star and button for embellishment.
That’s about it! Thanks for looking! <3
