Hello! I am back with a shaker card with Eeyore theme! Actually, this post is long overdue but as I went for work retreat overseas, and trying to clear projects and stuffs, this was put into draft on hold.
So here I am, back with a shaker card where it was actually a birthday card for someone, requested by a friend.
Cartoony cards are not really in my area of forte but I am glad that I made this work. 🙂 I printed out the eeyore image using Canon Pixma as it gave such vibrant colours, which make it outstanding. I can never do without Canon PIXMA printer! As you take a closer look, you noticed the purple border is kind of glittering. It was actually white cut out border before I sponged using Tim Holtz Dusty Concord distress ink. After which I add Diamond Sticklers, before covering everything up with Glossy Accent. It made the whole border looks so 3D with glitters inside!
I cut out the “beehive” shape using Silhouette Cameo as well as the name of the recipient, and pasted the transparency film over behind before adding lovely shakers which consists of glitters, beads and diamond dust. The purple background is from Krasiercraft, which complements nicely with the purple border that I made and the Eeyore.
And the final outcome:
Thanks for looking!
